Our activities increase environmental awareness, knowledge of the sea — weather, safety and navigation — and mutual support between participants.
A water sports culture for everyone
In Madeira, the sea is the region’s largest sports complex. CTM aims to give people of every age the opportunity to experience the sea through the club’s different sports. In partnership with Academia João Rodrigues, it promotes projects that bring this maritime culture to more people and municipalities.
From first experience to competition
The club develops competitive pathways in every sport and age group, supporting athletes in regional, national and international championships. It organises and supports dinghy sailing and windsurf events, promoting Madeira as a leading European water sports destination, especially during winter.
